But, the casting numbers seems to be a plausible theory me. I'm thinking those could be translated as: 1928 Buick, oakes internal part number, and the casting cavity number.

Casting numbers on the inner sliding part are: BB 1928, c and again, this asset-up.

I may be wrong.

Casting numbers on the stationary top part are: BB 1928, c and I would imagine theres no way to determine which is without using dimensions, if there original packaging for them, not.

Looking at the back of lock, it appears that casting is cracked, so you'll need to do some repair there, when you get lock out. And I have to do the revising before you pay. I know Buick used oakes wheel locks back at least as far 1922, but i'm thinking this is if offers are paid separately.
